This Laboratory Island Bench is designed for professional laboratory environments and can be configured as either a central island bench or a side bench.
It is widely used for experimental operations, sample storage, and equipment placement, fully meeting the requirements of scientific research, testing, and other professional laboratory applications.
Materials & Structure
The cabinet system is made of 18mm E1 grade melamine-faced particle board, which is environmentally friendly and structurally stable. PVC waterproof edge banding is applied to prevent moisture damage and deformation. The cabinet body is finished in modern gray, while door panel colors can be customized according to requirements. Aluminum alloy straight-line handles provide a simple and durable design.
The steel frame is constructed from 40 × 60 × 1.2mm galvanized steel tubes, formed by welding and finished with epoxy resin electrostatic powder coating and high-temperature curing. This ensures strong adhesion, excellent scratch resistance, and superior resistance to acids and alkalis, providing long-term durability for the Laboratory Island Bench system.
The worktop is made of 12.7mm solid phenolic resin board, offering excellent resistance to chemicals, heat, and stains, and is easy to clean-specifically designed for harsh laboratory environments.
Hardware components include 16-inch silent drawer slides for smooth operation and 115° opening hinges for convenient daily use.
Manufacturing Process
Precision CNC cutting machines are used for panel processing, ensuring high accuracy and minimal dimensional tolerance.
Steel components are welded using a combination of spot welding and argon arc welding to ensure structural strength and stability.
Surface finishing is completed in a fully automated spray booth using imported Wagner spray guns, followed by high-temperature curing to achieve a uniform and durable coating finish. These processes ensure the long-term reliability of the Laboratory Island Bench under intensive laboratory use.
